The global economy is probably going to grow at a very healthy rate for at least the next century or so; we will likely avoid environmental catastrophe; we will live longer healthier lives. But, it won’t feel like that. It will feel like things are getting worse or at least about to get worse.
It’s in our nature to look for the downside risks but, most often, the facts tell us thing are getting better.
